This course takes you behind closed doors into the fascinating world of hoarding. It describes what hoarding is, what hoarders typically collect and how hoarding impacts the lives of both people who hoard and their families. You will be introduced to guidelines for working with hoarders, as well as an intervention protocol to help you understand how and when to intervene.

Margit Novack is President of Moving Solutions, an award-winning firm that assists older adults move. Founded in 1996, Moving Solutions has helped thousands of people downsize and relocate. As Founding President of the National Association of Senior Move Managers Margit has spoken nationally on Hoarding and Hoarding in the Elderly and has had her Hoarding articles published in Geriatric Care Management magazine.  Senior Move Managers around the country have taken courses on hoarding, written by Margit, as part of their extensive training and certification.
